SATIN SILK
Most nightwear and lingerie companies use a light weight of satin silk, we however use the heavier 19MM weight which breathes and gives a beautiful drape to the nightwear. Satin silk is a natural product and 100 % protein. It is the highest quality Mulberry silk The consistency of silk in its natural state is almost identical to human hair. It is also allergy free. In the last century Mulberry leaves were used as a bath for skin allergies. It is resilient and strong warming you when cold and cooling when warm. Each Cocoon produces over 1,500 meters of continuous filiment which is then processed and woven into satin silk. As we had our own silk plantation on the East Coast of Malaysia, I can assure you that we know silk and use only the best in our production. The best way to care for your silk is to hand wash in baby shampoo, towel dry and iron when damp.
